“Glogova Art Project | Boyar Salon” proposes a reinterpretation of the cultural salon, transforming it into a space where tradition and contemporaneity meet. The choice of the title is not merely a symbolic gesture, but a strategy to valorize a historical legacy and, at the same time, to acknowledge the nobility of today’s artist. The architectural context in which the project takes place – the Glogoveanu Mansion (Cula Glogoveanu) – reinforces this connection between heritage and the present, between cultural memory and contemporary artistic expression.

If in the past the boyars opened their salons to music, poetry, and painting, today it is the artists who give form to a new kind of “boyardom” – the nobility of the spirit. In this sense, the concept of “boyar” transcends its strictly historical meaning. The artists exhibiting here become themselves boyars of art. Their nobility is not inherited through titles or ranks, but earned through the creative act, through the power of imagination, and through the generosity with which they share their vision.

Thus, each artist raises their work as a symbolic estate of the spirit – a territory of beauty and reflection. “Boyar” therefore becomes synonymous with artistic dignity, while the “Boyar Salon” of Glogova, hosted in the Glogoveanu Mansion, emerges as a metaphor of equality through art: all those who exhibit here are “boyars” through the creative gesture, through the dignity of visual expression, and through the generosity of sharing with the public.

This album captures that spirit. Beyond the diversity of forms and styles, what unites the works is their inner nobility – that aura through which art transcends time and becomes an integral part of cultural continuity.

In this way, “Glogova Art Project | Boyar Salon” is a declaration of cultural identity, through which artists affirm themselves as true boyars of art, while the public is invited to participate in this celebration of beauty within the historically charged and symbolically resonant space of the Glogoveanu Mansion.
